Temporary Closure of: Breach Lane (Part), Royal Wootton Bassett (23.04.2025)

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to
all traffic:
Breach Lane (Part), Royal Wootton Bassett; from its junction with A3102 to its junction
with Footpath 25, Royal Wootton Bassett.

To enable: Openreach to carry out works to desilt, clear blockages, lay ducting, install a new
pole, cabling work and other associated works.
Alternative route: via C120 – Withy Bed – The Barton – Thornhill – Bushton Road –
Marlborough Road – Station Road – New Road – A3102 and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 23 April 2025 and the closure will be required
between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 for until 14 May 2025. It is anticipated that the works
will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be
maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to
the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
