The land and building where the Village Hall is situated was very kindly gifted to the village of Broad Town in 1951 by the then owners Mr William Edgar Bourton and Mr James Ellison Price. The Parish Council were appointed Trustees of the “Recreation Hut” in 1952 to hold the property for the benefit of the inhabitants of Broad Town, with the general management and control of the Trust Premises vested in an appointed Management Committee.
