Temporary Closure of: Chapel Lane and Pye Lane (Part), Broad Town (Ref: TTRO
11608)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to
all traffic:
A) Chapel Lane, Broad Town; from its junction with C415 for its entire length.
B) Pye Lane (Part), Broad Town; from its junction with C415 for a distance of
approximately 210m in a south westerly direction.
To enable: Scottish and Southern Power Distribution to carry out overhead cabling work,
pole replacement works and other associated works.
No alternative route for A.
Alternative route B: via Pye Lane (unaffected length) – C119 – Thornhill – C15 – C415 and
vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 19 August 2026 and the closure will be required
between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 for 1 day. It is anticipated that the works will take the
stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained
for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of
the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.

WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 2nd July 2026, the following length of road shall be
closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out urgent
carriageway patching and other associated works.
C120 (Part), Clyffe Pypard; from its junction with C121 to its junction with Clyffe Pypard Hill South West
To Bupton Hill Farm.
Alternative route: via C120 (unaffected length) – C15 – C119 – C415 – C121 and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be
maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to
the nature of the works.
These works will commence on 2nd July 2026 and are anticipated to be required for 1 day between the
hours of 09:00 and 16:00. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.

Alternative route: via Thornhill (unaffected length) – Bushton Road – Broad Town Road – Junction
With Redhills South To Junction With Pye Lane – Pye Lane and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be
maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to
the nature of the works.
These works will commence on 3rd July 2026 and are anticipated to be required for 1 day between the
hours of 09:00 and 16:00. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.
