Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Temporary Closure of: Chapel Lane (Part), Broad Town (Ref: TTRO 12033)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to
all traffic:
Chapel Lane (Part), Broad Town; from its junction with Broadtown Road for a distance of
approximately 110m in a north easterly direction.
To enable: Openreach to carry out cabling works and other associated works.
No alternative route is available. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 07 December 2026 and the closure will be required
between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. It is anticipated that the works will take the
stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained
for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of
the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to
all traffic:
C414 (Part), Royal Wootton Bassett; from its junction with C15 for a distance of
approximately 750m in a northerly direction.
To enable: Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing works and other
associated works.
Alternative route: via C414 (unaffected length) – C122 – A3102 – C131 – C120 – C15 and
vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 14 September 2026 and the closure will be required
between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 for 2 days. It is anticipated that the works will take the
stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained
for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of
the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
