Caution – Take Care on Icy Road outside the Village Hall

Please be aware that there is water escaping from a BT manhole cover in the road near Pye Lane, outside the Village Hall. This is the part of the road where there is no pavement and therefore pedestrians have to walk in the road. In freezing conditions this will cause a hazard to pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.  Unfortunately previous attempts to get help from BT have been unsuccessful.
